Less is more when it comes to weight, especially when hiking. Komperdell C3 Carbon Pro Compact trekking poles are very lightweight yet incredibly stable, and have extended foam grips for an uphill grip. The compact model has a maximum & packed length that is 10 cm (about 3.94 inch) shorter, so it is perfect for shorter people, or where size and weight savings are critical. Carbon upper and middle sections cut weight and provide strength. Titanal.HF aluminum lower sections offer durable performance. Trek Pro 280 extended foam grips are especially lightweight and pleasantly soft for best wearing comfort. The extended grip zone allows you to grab the poles shorter on steep passages without having to adjust the length of the poles. Padded wrist straps are easy to adjust. Powerlock 3.0 lock mechanism uses highly rigid anodized aluminum for maximum holding power at the desired length. Tungsten/carbide flex tips pierce through almost anything for secure grip on most surfaces. Vario trekking baskets prevent the poles from sinking into the ground, and the interchangeable basket system lets you swap them out for larger baskets when desired (not included).
