This adapter allows you to use your small iso-butane canister gas appliances with a 1lb or larger propane tank!  Just connect the adapter onto the valve of the gas appliance, then connect to a 1 lb. propane tank or post. Then use your gas appliance normally. Coleman-style 16.4 oz propane bottles are less expensive than iso-butane fuel canisters, and are readily available in camping and hardware stores throughout the US and much of the world.
